In order to respond to the industrial sector’s needs for good waste management and reduction of chemical raw materials cost, Recycling Engineering Company Limited was established in 1997 by a joint venture between Thai-German as the first chemical waste removal & recycling services provider in Thailand.
The company has received a license to operate a type 106 factory to treat chemical waste by recycling and improving chemical quality so that it can be reused.
The company uses technology from Germany to improve domestic waste management methods to European standards that significantly minimize environmental impact and became a prototype project that is systematically managed according to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
With a commitment to improving the chemical waste management system in Thailand and being aware of the problem of the amount of used and expired chemical substances from chemical laboratories that are likely to increase in 2008, the company has initiated a project to manage waste from laboratories with the cooperation and support from Merck (Thailand) Company Limited in waste management technology and knowledge in collecting and storing used chemicals. Therefore, the company is ready to provide laboratory chemical waste management services.
Factory types No.106 is a required license for the business that deals with converting industrial used chemical products or waste into new raw materials or products by using industrial processes.
